Help me find Book #13

I'd like to ask the help of anyone out there to find my sketchbook #13 and I'm going to post this out to a few different places but I'm going to try and get it back again to make my collection whole again.

About 2 years ago I left one of my sketch books #13 on a seat at Flinders Street Station and it sailed off into the unknown. And while I don't have much of an idea of the contents I do remember that the back of the book has a hand drawn poker chip with the number 13 on it (for luck of course).

Rough impression of what it looks like.

The sketchbook itself is about half full (as far as I remember) and is, as all the others, an A5 sized visual diary with a black plastic cover. As far as I can remember it, it was a 100 sheet(they market them as 200 pages) book and all the sketches in it will have been created in pen, as per my other sketches.

I know it could already be in a landfill in a Werribee Refuse centre but I am hoping for luck to be on my side.

Reward

So the big thing that I'm throwing out there is a reward of $100(Australian) and a personal sketch for the person who brings it to me, or multiple sketches if there happens to be more than one person helping.

If you are holding out for a bigger reward I can possibly offer some stationary from desk drawer but other than that I'm pretty much out.

I don't know whether this will help but I really would like to have all 27 books back in my hands.

Also If you can send this around, I'd appreciate it too.

If you have any questions please post below. I'll answer them as succinctly as possibly.

p.s. I do apologise to all international and interstate viewers. Though if you do find it somewhere I will still give you the reward. (and may have to write a story based on it)

Impromptu Sketch - Cowboy Marionnette

The Cowboy Marionette -
The ancient toy, while broken, still had a charm throughout the cracks.

On a side note, is it a worry that when I get the idea of a sketch of a hand on fire I start to wonder how to actually do something like that with my own left hand?

Stuff and an update I promised a while back

As i did say in a post in February, I was working on a Ukelele for the 'Pimp My Ukelele' Competition in the Melbourne Ukelele Festival. Now it's been almost 4 months since I did post this and I finished it, had it exhibited and now have it home resting above a couch waiting until I decide where abouts it's to go.

So heres a quick process piece:

Starting with some base clay:

Finished base and starting using a pen:

And final images once complete:
Which I am quite proud of. It also turns out that I was finalist of the public voting competition.

This also brings me to a second point, that I'm selling the piece now. I have a large amount of art and while I do love this piece I want to offer it to a home. I'm testing out having an Etsy store for my physical artwork and this is my first listing. Click here if you are interested

Busy like a bee or other carnivorous insect

And I have been quite busy working on a few new concepts, a few old concepts and some fun things in between. To give you all a quick run down

For the fanatical sports following fan that I am a fixture wallpaper gives me a chance to work with a brand without being restricted by guidelines. Awesome fun, if I do say so myself.

So here is the Melbourne Victory highly unofficial Wallpaper:

Home Kit:

Away Kit:

and as well as this work has been quite busy but I got to SKETCH A FREAKIN LION and if you don't believe me you can look at this below(I'm still excited):

So this resulted in some good responses from the legal community including emails and a phone call indicating that I may be asked upon for private illustration work.

And as well as this I've been sketching lots including pencil and ink art that result in things like this.

and more and more sketching on mondays
Will keep posting. Have fun lovely people.

Keeping up Appearances

So I've been keeping myself busy posting up weekly sketches (missing only the occasional week) for you to look over and some additional projects have popped onto my radar.

I've posted a selection of them and I'll try and post up occasional blogs with some images. If you want to follow it on facebook the account to track is here

This image(above) was drawn to celebrate the birth of my nephew to my Sister and Bro in law in Helsinki

As well as all this I'm entering a competition called (and don't judge me on the name) Pimp my M.U.F. by painting/sculpting/changing a Ukelele for the Melbourne Ukelele Festival. The final piece is incomplete as yet with the quick dry clay and a base level of paint applied.
Here is a preview:

And with only the penwork and paper strips to finish this off it should be all set to be on show at the Trades Hall on the 9th through to the 11th of March 2012. If you can tell what it is, congratulations because I'm still hoping it will work.

p.s. Any questions or requests, please post through.
